Amanda Beech lives and works in London, UK and is represented by MOT International. Recent solo exhibitions include Falk, MOT (2006) and The Patriot, The Economist Plaza, London (2003). She has shown in various group exhibitions including; One Way Street, Sheppard Gallery, University of Reno, Nevada, and KX Hamburg, Germany(2007), Foreign Body(ies) White Box Gallery, New York, USA (2007), Local Operations, Serpentine Gallery Project Space, London, Ubiquitous Media, Tokyo University, Japan, (2007) and Little Private Governments, University Gallery, University of Essex (2006) Amanda Beech is also a writer and curator; co-editor and contributing author of the book Episode The Pleasure and Persuasion of Lens Based Media, Artwords Press, 2008, is Course Director, MA Critical Writing and Curatorial Practice, Chelsea College of Art, UAL and a member of the steering committee for the Political Currency of Art research group.
